• This property was in a specially designated district so I had to work closely with the neighborhood and the Boston Redevelopment Authority on some aspects of the design.
• The property was in very poor condition, but tearing the whole thing down would have met with neighborhood opposition.
• In order to make the numbers work, I had to get permission to add a townhouse onto the existing building.

The project came out beautifully and was featured in Boston Homes. A lot of people told me they liked the framing details and room layouts that gave the place so much interest and drama. Or that I wasn’t afraid to try something a little different with colored glass and acrylic railings on a speculative development.
